General Information: Boasting a delicate, licoricelike flavor and aroma, gardeners will harvest Orion’s leaves for salads, for use in eggs, fish and sauces. The thick, rounded bulbs grow above ground and can be steamed, grilled or eaten raw like celery. Can withstand light frosts. Plants grow to 30 in. (75 cm) tall.
Smooth, round bulbs for early through late Fall production. Very uniform; resists bolting and tipburn.
