Don't Let This Happen To You
With snow falling today across parts of the United States that usually don't get heavy snow, I wanted to remind you that it is far better to have cold hands from clearing snow off your greenhouses and high tunnels than to be taking photos tomorrow of a collapsed greenhouse or tunnel.
Don't let this happen to you!
If you are wondering what to do with low caterpillar type tunnels, low tunnels beseiged by heavy snow will often collapse and crush the plants within. Sometimes it's best to remove the cover completely and let the snow insulate the plants.
