For a sneak peak on what’s new, see the latest video from Ball FloraPlant Territory Manager Maria Bolinger. Here, she shows off two new colors in the Galaxy Zonal Geranium series. Dark Red Improved offers a darker red color and flowers that resist shattering. Raspberry Sizzle, a new variety, features large, striking maroon-red blooms.

With direct-stick callused cuttings from Ball FloraPlant, you’ll get Genesis™ cuttings. Less labor, shortened crop time, less shrink, reduced input cost, better branching and more flowers, and no propagation required. They are grown at the unrooted cutting geranium farm, YecaFlora, located in Yecapixtla, Mexico. The farm offers excellent conditions for high-quality geranium production along with climate-controlled truck shipments to the border.

Other NEW Geranium varieties include:

Super Moon™ Compact Violet

Fantasia® Lavender Sizzle

Galaxy® Raspberry Sizzle

Moonlight™ Hot Coral

Sunrise™ Purple+Big Eye

Helpful grower information

Producing a clean, healthy crop is the ultimate goal, especially when you’re growing greenhouse crops with inherent challenges. In the following video, Tech On-Demand host Bill Calkins is joined by Ball Horticultural Co. technical manager, Dr. Todd Cavins, to discuss how geranium crops can be positively managed using preventative strategies.
